Senior Counsel

Cathy has over 20 years of experience providing legal guidance within the financial services technology industry. Cathy is accomplished in complex contract structuring and negotiations, being mindful of the risk mitigation, regulatory, and financial impact of contract provisions. Taking a collaborative approach to problem-solving and process innovation, Cathy is particularly passionate about crafting straightforward contracts that are appropriately reflective of the business deal.

Prior to joining Baldini Lang, Cathy was General Counsel at Corporate Visions, where Cathy was responsible for the legal operations for their marketing, sales, and customer success training and consulting solutions internationally for b2b organizations. Before Corporate Visions, Cathy was Vice President, Assistance General Counsel with Fiserv, Inc., leading the legal teams responsible for core account processing, online banking, check processing, and account analysis businesses, with vast experience in outsourcing and hosted services, SaaS services, managed infrastructure services, in-house licensing arrangements, and post-merger activities, such as business and legal operation integration. Cathy worked at Open Solutions, Inc. (OSI) prior to it being acquired by Fiserv.

As Assistant General Counsel at Hartford Healthcare, Cathy led legal support to that organization’s technology, procurement, and real estate departments.

Cathy began her legal career as an associate with the business practice group at Shipman & Goodwin LLP in Hartford, CT.

Cathy graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she was Editor in Chief of the Quinnipiac Law Review.

Cathy is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
