Regina is a practical and business-minded legal advisor known for her common-sense approach and commitment to efficient, results-oriented counsel.
Since joining Baldini Lang LLC in 2018, Regina has focused her practice on commercial contract drafting and negotiation, with particular emphasis on corporate acquisitions, vendor agreements, commercial leasing, and trademark prosecution. She advises a broad spectrum of clients on the legal aspects of launching, operating, and scaling their businesses. Regina has secured and protected hundreds of federal trademarks for both emerging ventures and established brands, safeguarding their intellectual property rights against competitors and infringers.
Regina began her legal career at the firm of Brown, Paindiris & Scott, where she spent a decade advising clients on commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate matters, and intellectual property issues.
Her transactional experience includes advising national and international franchise systems, structuring and negotiating buyouts of privately held companies, and managing the purchase, sale, and refinancing of multimillion-dollar commercial properties. She currently serves as General Counsel to Highclere Castle Spirits and Highclere Castle Cigar—two global luxury brands with multimillion-dollar operations.
In addition to her practice, Regina has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law’s Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she mentored law students and advised local entrepreneurs on trademark law and practical legal skills.
Regina is also the author of Controversial Court Cases in Connecticut, Volumes I and II, published by Law First Publishing, a division of the Connecticut Bar Association. The books explore twelve historic and high-profile Connecticut cases, including the state’s colonial witch trials, the Amistad rebellion, the landmark education case Sheff v. O’Neill, and the exoneration of James Tillman.
Regina graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she earned a certificate in Intellectual Property. She received her B.A. in Journalism and Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. She is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
