Margaret “Maggie” Matta is a detail-oriented and results-driven attorney who counsels community banks and credit unions on a wide range of commercial and technology transactions. Known for her thoughtful approach and precision in contract analysis, Maggie has built enduring client relationships—many of which span several years—by consistently delivering strategic legal guidance that helps institutions mitigate risk and improve the economic value of their vendor agreements.

Maggie began her legal career as a law clerk during law school, supporting litigation matters involving personal injury and medical malpractice claims. She later joined a firm specializing in estate planning, where she worked with individuals with special needs to preserve assets and access essential services.

In 2018, Maggie joined Webster Bank as an in-house attorney, where she focused on negotiating and drafting third-party contracts. While supporting real estate and facilities agreements, she developed deep expertise in technology contracting, including end-user license agreements, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS agreements; master subscription agreements; cloud migration initiatives; and statements of work governing both implementation and professional services.

Since joining Baldini Lang LLC, Maggie has continued to serve as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, offering practical, business-savvy counsel in high-stakes vendor negotiations.

Maggie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2017 and is a member of the Connecticut Bar. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
